Overview

IHS Wellness ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use ihswellness.com, how we use it, and your choices. Patient health information collected during consultations and clinical care is additionally governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices (HIPAA), provided at intake.

Information we collect

Contact and consultation form submissions. We collect the information you choose to submit — name, email, phone, location, topic of interest, program preference, and the message you provide. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and to schedule a consultation.

Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible) to understand which pages are viewed and how visitors move through the site. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is GDPR-compliant by default.

Scheduling. If you book a consultation via our calendar provider, that provider collects your email, name, and preferred time. Their privacy policy governs that data.

Clinical care. Once you become a patient, additional protected health information (PHI) is collected by our medical team and is governed by HIPAA. PHI is never displayed on this marketing website.

How we use information

• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Who we share with

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site (email delivery, hosting, scheduling), and only to the extent necessary to deliver the service. PHI held by our medical practice is shared only as permitted by HIPAA.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained while your inquiry is active and for a reasonable period after, then archived or deleted in accordance with our retention policy and applicable medical record-keeping requirements.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you've provided by emailing hello@ihswellness.com. Some health information may be subject to retention requirements under state and federal law.
